(This means that you need to set your clocks ahead one hour at midnight (technically), which also means that you lose an hour, if you were unaware of the ramifications of what it meant to “spring”. Personally, I find this word much too positive-sounding for such an event. Instead, they should be reversed: Fall forward, and Spring backward. I think we all could get behind such a change, but I digress…)
